I would highly recommend The Alteration Rooms for altering any wedding dress, or any other pieces of clothing. I went for a couple of fittings before my wedding, and Claire always made sure to give me an appointment that suited me best. She is very friendly, always made me feel welcome and calm and has a lovely relaxed atmosphere at her fitting rooms. She did an absolutely amazing job fixing my website dress, which was way too long and one or two sizes too big. There is nothing she can’t do. And her work is very accurate.

I called  Clare to tell her I had ordered a dress online, and needed help last minute. The ball I was going was in two days!! Nothing was too much trouble. Clare helped me and made feel really secure that she would be able to do it in time. The dress itself was so badly made she had a tough job ahead of her!! Claire you are a super person and so talented at what you do.. don’t ever stop. The dress was perfect!!!

Gerry for going to the trouble of finding me the best dry cleaners who were able to also take the oil stains from where the dress came from I thank you both again.

I have been a customer of The Alteration Rooms since they opened in 2012. It is used by myself and our extended family and we have always found them to be most accommodating with an excellent standard of workmanship.
